At the Child Death Helpline we’re here to listen. We understand that the death of a child is one of the most devastating events that anyone may experience. Sometimes the feelings of grief can be so overwhelming that they make everyday living very difficult – we’re here to help. Our dedicated helpline offers support to anyone affected by the death of a child of any age, under any circumstances, however recent or long ago.

Every family can go through difficult or challenging times at some point during their lives. If you are experiencing problems you may require support to help you deal with difficult situations and make things better.

In Sutton, Early Help services and support are offered as soon as a problem or difficulty starts. This is to stop things gettings worse, and to make sure you get the help you need.

Service Description:
Jigsaw4u support children, young people and families experiencing complex social and emotional difficulties. Our current services include: pre and post bereavement; young victims of crime; domestic violence/abuse; parenting programmes; support for adopted children, young people in and leaving care; and, prisoners families.

Service Description:
KOOTH
Kooth is a free online counselling and emotional well-being support service for young people. It is a safe, secure and anonymous means of accessing support with their emotional health and wellbeing needs from a professional team of qualified counsellors. As well as other supports such as discussion boards and magazines with peer to peer and community elements. All of which are safe and secure and pre moderated.

SWL Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has commissioned the online counselling service Kooth for all young people in South West London. Kooth ensures that young people have access to a range of mental health and wellbeing services. Kooth operates out of hours service weekdays from 12 -10 pm and the weekend from 6pm to 10 pm 365 days a year. Kooth is available free to Young people (see specifics for areas)
