About Us
Service Description:MDF The Bipolar Organisation is the national charity dedicated to supporting individuals with the much misunderstood and devistating condition of Bipolar, their families and carers. We provide a range of services to enable people afftected by Bipolar to take control of their lives including supporting 4,500 members, hosting over 100 self-help groups across the UK.
In early 2011 we have commenced a new project - London Youth - working with and supporting young people aged 18 - 25 years. The projects aims to support young people with Bipolar in the London area via a network of self help groups and teh development of online resources.
The project is focused initially on young people who attend college or university, but will be expanding to serve young people across the whole community. Young people who are intrested in the project can contact MDF directly for more informaiton. No referral is needed.
Families and carers of young people with Bipolar can also contact MDF directly to find out about our existing self help groups which are available for all people with Bipolar, their friends and relations. All of our self help groups and our online e community are free of charge to acces.
