Switchboard LGBT+ Helpline, a service started in 1974 to provide a listening support service and information via telephone, instant messaging and email to millions of people across Britain concerning issues relating to sexuality, gender identity, sexual health and emotional wellbeing. Switchboard LGBT+ Helpline aspires to a society where all LGBT+ people are informed and empowered.
