| Service Description: | Play B C Mill Lane and Butter Hill are teacher-led preschools for children between two and five years of age. Good preschools have a lasting positive impact in all areas, particularly where a trained teacher is present.
Six years ago we began as a pack away setting with just five children registered. Five became ten, then ten became twenty as the family steadily grew and outgrew our church hall. We extensively remodelled Elm Grove Hall and relocated in 2017, developing a fantastic learning environment. The team has tripled in size to accommodate expanding numbers and now includes a three qualified teachers. We recently opened another super site in Carshalton.
We offer fun yet challenging learning for all our children and nursery aged children attain particularly well. We prioritise relationships with our wonderfully diverse cohort, which has included children with diabetes, autistic spectrum disorders and Down’s syndrome. We were thrilled recently to attain ‘excellent’ score for interaction in an external ratings assessment and to secure an Early Years Quality Mark.
