About Us

Service Description:
The Helping Hands Project provides volunteer support for individuals and families who have experienced or are experiencing domestic violence/abuse. Support for children is currently via volunteer support with the non-abusive parent. Support is offered according to the needs of the service user and can be emotional support such as meeting weekly to talk, or practical support such as finding out information, referring to other organisations, attending court/housing/health appointments, accessing leisure facilities etc.
